The Vampire Shrink (Kismet Knight, Ph.D., Vampire Psychologist #1) - Lynda Hilburn Ok, so I honestly tried to finish this, but I really couldn't, got halfway through it and I was just bored. I thought reading a book about a psychologist would be insightful, which it was for like the first 3 chapters then it was just annoying. She thinks EVERYONE has some kind of disorder, if it's not one thing then it's another...What's her baseline? What the hell IS normal for her then. And then we have how she is apparently psychic but of course her being the psychologist that she is, she suppresses her ability and then complains when she it doesn't work when she wants it to. Oh, and she can accept people being psychic and reading her thoughts word for word but she can't accept vampire exist even thought she is shown ample evidence, I mean she was freaking attacked, be-spelled, entranced, sucked her blood, she is STILL in denial...She finally starts accepting them halfway through the book, but that was already too late for me.The romance also felt just wrong, she is this hot woman but can't get a guy, and then all of a sudden she has 3 hot guys vying for her attention and none of those feelings made sense to me, they were all incredibly superficial. One day she is making out with one guy the next almost having sex with another. Did not like this book at all.
