Ok, so. I don't like reviewing books that I didn't finish, cause well, I didn't finish it. Not really fair. I only got about 20% or so and even though the premise is really interesting, what with the threads of life and the loom and weaving, it was also utterly boring. I would pick it up and not 5 pages later, put it back down. It just couldn't hold my attention. And the so called 'budding romance' that was going on wasn't helping either. I didn't care for the MC at all, she would think one thing and then do/say something else entirely. But like I said, I never finished it and who knows it might have gotten better as it went, but I just couldn't do it.Thanks to NetGalley and Faber and Faber!
